Veteran manager Jupp Heynckes has moved to quell rumours that he is likely to become Carlo Ancelotti’s sucessor at Bayern.
Heynckes, has been sounded out by the Bayern board and Uli Hoeness according to Bild, who are generally reliable when it comes to news regarding the Bavarian outfit, but the 72 year old hasn’t given his nod yet- quoting his age and the changes in world football since his last Bayern stint (back in 2013)
Other candidates to be linked with the Bayern job include Thomas Tuchel and Julian Nagelsmann, although the latter is thought to be a serious candidate for 2018-19, making Ancelotti’s successor more of a caretaker for the current 2017/18 season.
